Samsung has expanded its curved monitor lineup with two new monitors featuring a 27-inch and a 32-inch panel. Both monitors are based on 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution, 8-bit color support and 1800R curvature. Furthermore both displays come with support for AMD FreeSync which allows for a variable refresh rate that ranges between 60 and 72Hz.
As we already mentioned the C27H711 monitor has been equipped with a 27-inch panel, while the C32H711 features 32-inch panel. Both displays support 2560 x 1440 Pixels (WQHD) and they feature a 1800R curvature. There is no HDMI 2.0 port but you get one mini DisplayPort 1.2a connector and an HDMI 1.4a. The display is based on an VA panel that supports Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology. The contrast ratio is 3000:1, the brightness is 250 cd/m2 and there is a 4ms response time (GTG). Samsung is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and for that purpose they’ve integrated AMD FreeSync support. The Samsung C27H711 and C32H711 have a VESA adaptor bracket.
In terms of looks the C27 and C32 series offer a refreshed design with a thin bezel. According to Guru3D, both monitors should be released shortly. At the moment the Samsung C27H711 is listed on Geizhals for 462 Euro and the Samsung C32H711 is listed for 538 Euro.
