EK Water Blocks announced that they are working on a new water block for the ASUS STRIX GTX 1080 Ti graphics card. The block is going to looks similar to the model EK produced for the non-Ti version of the ASUS GTX 1080.


With this water block covering the entire graphics card it simultaneously cools the GPU, the VRAM as well as VRM. The base of the monoblock is made from nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while there is a POM Acetal or an acrylic glass top available. The acrylic top features two pre-drilled holes for 3mm LED diodes.

The water block also features a plastic cover over the Terminal area. This add-on, which is available only on the latest water blocks from EKWB, shows the model name from the side. Like the name suggests, the EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix water block is compatible with the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
