Lately it’s been pretty quiet around Unigine but it looks like the guys behind Valley and Heaven benchmark have not been sitting on their hands. Superposition is their latest benchmark and the scenery is in a quantum-mechanics professor’s classroom.


As with all benchmarks from Unigine, Superposition allows you to test your system for stability and performance. Like with other common benchmarks, Unigine Superposition allows you to compare the results online with users from around the world.

Diving a bit deeper Superposition can be run with different APIs such as DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.5. The current builds do not offer support for DirectX 12 and Vulkan, which is a bit pity in our opinion. If you purchase the benchmark you will also get access to the VR benchmark routine. We have done a quick run on our system with an Intel Core i7-6700K and an NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics card. Following you can find our score.

This new benchmark support both Linux and Windows-based PCs. Unigine Superposition will be a 1.2 GB download for Windows and a 2 GB download on Linux, both versions are available to download on Unigine's official website.
