ASUS has expanded its gaming monitor lineup with a new monitor featuring a 24-inch TN panel and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The VG245Q is a value gaming monitor with a price below $250 US. The display supports AMD’s FreeSync technology. Furthermore the solid base allows forl adjustments.
As we already mentioned the VG245Q monitor has been equipped with a 24-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 Pixel resolution. There is one HDMI 1.4a connector and one DisplayPort 1.2a inlet. The display is based on an TN panel with 250 cd/m2 brightness and 1ms response time (GTG). ASUS is marketing this display as a value gaming monitor and for that purpose they’ve integrated AMD FreeSync technology.
The VG245Q will also come with an adjustable, VESA-compatible stand, which offers tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment. Checking out the pictures and specifications this looks like a reasonable display if you don't want spend too much money for a monitor. At the moment the ASUS VG245Q is available on Geizhals for 189 Euro.
