ASUS has unveiled its latest 17.3-inch gaming notebook that will both be a part of its Republic of Gamers lineup and pack some serious performance with Nvidia's Geforce GTX 1080 graphics card and 120Hz G-Sync display.
According to details provided by ASUS, the new ROG G701VI gaming notebook will be built around a 17.3-inch 120Hz 1920x1080 resolution screen with support for Nvidia G-Sync, powered by high-end Geforce GTX 1080 graphics card with 8GB of VRAM, which is currently the fastest graphics card that you can find in a notebook.
It also comes with an option of Core i7-6700HQ or the unlocked and overclocking-ready Core i7-6820HK CPU, up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory, two PCIe M.2 SSDs, plenty of USB 3.1 and USB 3.0 ports, usual connectivity options and a 6-cell 93Whr battery. ASUS also added a special gaming keyboard as well as a Thunderbolt port.
Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding the starting price but hopefully this one will show up in retail/e-tail soon.
