MSI has unveiled a new member of its Geforce 10-series graphics card lineup, the Geforce GTX 1070 Quick Silver, which will change the standard black and red color scheme with a black and silver one, making it more suitable for MSI's Titanium series motherboards.
Available in two versions, standard and the OC Edition, the new MSI Geforce GTX 1070 Quick Silver works at 1518MHz GPU base and and 1708MHz GPU Boost in standard (Gaming) mode and 1531MHz base and 1721MHz GPU Boost in OC Mode, which puts it just a bit ahead of the standard reference version.
The MSI GTX 1070 Quick Silver OC Edition, on the other hand, works at much higher 1531MHz base and 1721MHz GPU Boost clocks in the standard mode and 1607MHz GPU base and 1797MHz GPU Boost clocks in the OC Mode, which puts it in the same line as the earlier available MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X graphics card.
It actually features the same design drawing power from 8- and 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors and has the same dual-fan Twin Frozr VI cooler, just with black and silver color scheme and silver full-cover backplate.
Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the price but we are sure that those running on Titanium series motherboards will certainly keep an eye for this version.
