Fractal Design has expanded its Define series of PC cases with a new Define C Series, which will offer a flexible platform for ATX and micro-ATX motherboards with focus on high-performance and silent computing.

Starting with Define C and Define Mini C, the new Define PC case series from Fractal Design will be based on an open air design, which provides unobstructed airflow across key components. Both the Define C and the Define Mini C will also be available in Window versions with large tempered glass side panel.

The Define C measures 399 x 210 x 440mm and offers support for up to ATX size motherboard, up to 168mm tall CPU coolers, up to 175mm ATX PSUs and up to 315mm long graphics cards.

It has two 3.5-inch HDD and three dedicated 2.5-inch HDD/SSD mount positions and has seven fan positions (with two Dynamic X2 GP12 120mm fans included).





The Define Mini C is only slightly smaller at 399 x 210 x 399 mm and offers support for micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, supports up to 168mm CPU coolers, up to 175mm long ATX PSUs and up to 315mm long graphics cards, same as the Define C. It has five expansion slots, two 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bays and comes with a total of six fan positions (with two Dynamic X2 GP12 120mm fans included).





Both cases offer extensive liquid cooling support with up to 360mm radiator (280mm for Define Mini C) at the front, up to 240mm radiator at the top and 120mm radiator at the back. Most of the fan mounting positions come with filters and both cases uses ModuVent feature at the top of the case.

As noted, both the Define C and the Define Mini C are available in Window and standard versions and come in a single Black color.

Unfortunately, Fractal Design did not reveal any details regarding the price but we suspect that these should launch soon so we will have a better idea about market positioning. We already had a chance to review the Define Mini C and it certainly impressed us with some of its features.
