Acer has unveiled its latest monitor that will be a part of its Predator lineup, featuring a 24-inch TN panel with WQHD 2560x1440 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, the Acer Predator XB241YU.
The new Acer Predator XB241YU uses the same ZeroFrame design as earlier Predator monitors, which means that front bezels are reduced to a minimum while its Predator stand allows height, tilt and swivel adjustments.
The standard 144Hz refresh rate of the WQHD 2560x1440 resolution TN-panel can be overclocked up to 165Hz and it also features a 1ms response time. It also supports Nvidia G-Sync.
The input lineup includes DisplayPort 1.2 (needed for G-Sync) and HDMI inputs as well as 4-port USB 3.0 hub and 2W stereo speakers.
According to Acer, the new Predator XB241YU should be available soon with a price set at US $499.99, which is not that bad for a 24-inch 1440p monitor with G-Sync support.
