be quiet! has released yet another CPU cooler that will be a part of its Pure Rock series, the Pure Rock Slim CPU cooler.
Based on a standard tower design, the Pure Rock Slim is also based on an asymmetric design and with dimensions of 81.8 x 97.0 x 124.8 (L x W x H), it is obvious that this is a compact cooler. Thanks to the aforementioned asymmetric structure, it should not block the memory slots.
The Pure Rock Slim CPU cooler has a finned coil block which transfers heat to the heatsink via three 6mm copper heatpipes. Paired up with a 92mm fan, the Pure Rock Slim is capable of dissipating up to 120W of TDP, which should be enough to make it compatible with most CPUs on the market.
The 92mm SilentWings PWM fan on the Pure Rock Slim spins at up to 2,000 rpm, providing up to 35.14cfm of airflow and producing up to 25.4dBA of noise.
According to be quiet!, the new Pure Rock Slim is aimed at smaller PC systems and should offer an optimal price-performance ratio. The Pure Rock Slim should be already available witha price set at €28/$24.90/?£23.99.
