EKWB releases new Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 water block

The new EK-FC1080 GTX G1 full cover water block

EK Water Blocks has released its newest full-cover water block designed for Gigabyte's Gaming G1 series GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards, the EK-FC1080 GTX G1.

Made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper for the base and POM Acetal or acrylic top, depending on the version, the new EK-FC1080 GTX G1 water block is also a full-cover water block, meaning that it cools both the GPU and RAM as well as the VRM part of the graphics card.

It also uses EKWB's unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine design which not only provides the best cooling performance but also works with both reversed water flow and systems with weaker pumps.

The new EK-FC1080 GTX G1 will also have an optional backplate that will be available in black and nickel versions and both versions of the water block and the backplates should be shipping on 28th of June.

According to EK Water Blocks, the new EK-FC1080 GTX G1 water block will be priced at €114,95 for both Nickel and Acetal+Nickel versions while backplates will be priced at €29,95 for the black and €37,95 for the nickel version.
