According to the latest report, it appears that although Nvidia might have mobile Pascal GPUs ready, these won't be coming before August.
According to a report coming from Benchlife.info, Geforce 10 Pascal series for notebooks, as it should be officially called, won't be coming before August. Although the GPUs have been already spotted under N17x codename, and have been rumored not to use the M suffix but rather be called Geforce GTX 1080/1070 for notebooks.
Although the new Pascal-based mobile GPU with 2048 CUDA cores has already been spotted during Computex 2016 show, the same source has confirmed with two major Nvidia partners that mobile Pascal graphics cards won't be launched before first week of August as Nvidia might be waiting to see the reaction on Polaris 10-based mobile Radeon graphics cards.
Earlier reports suggest that AMD has already scored a big win for mobile Polaris chips with Apple so Nvidia might be waiting to see how that pans out.
