Zotac teases new custom GTX 1080 PGF

Custom PCB, LED backplate and new Firestorm OC app

We already knew that custom GTX 1080 graphics cards will be a big part of the upcoming Computex 2016 show and as we draw closer to the date we have some of the first teasers, including Zotac's GTX 1080 Prime Gamer Force (PGF).

Although there are still no precise details, the information from Videocardz.com suggest that the Zotac GTX 1080 PGF will be based on a fully custom PCB. According to what we see from the picture, it is obvious that Zotac will also use a custom cooling solution and a fancy RGB LED backplate.

In addition to the custom GTX 1080 PGF graphics card, Zotac will introduce a new Firestorm app, that can be used for both overclocking as well as controlling the aforementioned RGB LED backplate.

This will probably be one of the fastest GTX 1080 graphics cards on the market and according to the Firestorm screenshot, memory will be highly overclocked to 5650MHz (11.3GHz effective).

We are surely looking forward to the Computex 2016 show to see what kind of custom GTX 1080 graphics card Nvidia AiB partners have in store for us.
