At dedicated launch event in Macau, China

According to the latest reports coming from China, AMD might actually launch its first Polaris-based graphics cards at a dedicated event in late May. The event should take place in Macau, China ahead of Computex 2016 show.

According to a report coming from Zolkorn, AMD has already sent out invites to press members for the event and it appears that this will be a limited event, only for selected members of the press.

It is believed that this will be the place where and when AMD will most likely paper-launch its first Radeon R9 400 series graphics cards based on 14nm Ellesmere and Baffin chips, which graphics cards from various AIB partners will most likely be officially launched at Computex 2016 show.

The report also suggest that the availability is expected shortly after Computex 2016 show.
