ASUS ROG teases new Claymore mechanical keyboard

Based on Cherry MX switches

While it was already showcased back at Computex show in June, ASUS still has not released its Republic of Gamers Claymore mechanical keyboard but did release a new video which shows a bit more details.

Featuring some neat lighting effects, a detachable numeric keyboard as well as a wide choice of Cherry MX mechanical switches, the aluminum-alloy frame ASUS ROG Claymore will certainly be a popular keyboard among gamers and ROG-enthusiasts.

The feature list includes 16.8 million color RGB LED customizable backlight, N-key Rollover technology and configurable macros and special keys. The ROG Claymore keyboard has ROG motherboard sync technology which allows users to control fans attached to the motherboard and also comes with OC and BIOS hotkeys.

Probably the biggest feature of the upcoming ASUS ROG Claymore keyboard is its detachable numpad, that can be atached to both sides of the ROG Claymore keyboard and assigned to do different functions and macros.

ASUS ROG Claymore keyboard will most likely launch together with the ROG Spatha wireless/wired MMO-designed gaming mouse with 8200 dpi laser sensor, Omron switches, RGB lighting and 12 programmable buttons

Unfortunately, ASUS Did not announce any details regarding the availability date or the price of the new ROG Claymore mechanical gaming keyboard.
