EKWB issues recall of its XLC Predator AIO coolers

Revision 1.0 have a critical flaw

EK Water Blocks has issued a total recall of its Revision 1.0 EK-XLC Predator 240 and 360 AIO liquid coolers due to a possibility of a leakage issues.

According to what we can gather from EKWB's announcement, it appears that the Revision 1.0 of the EK-XLC Predator 240 and EK-XLC Predator 360 AiO liquid coolers have a risk of a possible leaking issues that can be easily resolved and were fixed with the Revision 1.1.

The issue does not be so widespread as EKWB has managed to narrow the problem to the CPU block O-rings that were produced in November and affects one out of ten XLC Predator AiO liquid coolers produced between October and December last year.

Those that own a Revision 1.0 of any EK-XLC Predator AiO liquid cooler will have two options, either get a full refund or get a full replacement. EK Water Blocks also announced that it will be taking full responsibility for the failed components as well as responsibility for any damage caused by leaking EK-XLC Predator AiO liquid cooler.

It is definitely good that EKWB has managed to pin-point the problem, fix it and announce a full recall of the Revision 1.0 versions of the EK-XLC Predator 240 or the EK-XLC Predator 360.
