AMD cuts the price of R9 Nano down to US $499

A 23 percent price cut

AMD has now officially cut the price of its Radeon R9 Nano graphics card based on Fiji XT GPU, making it the cheapest graphics card with High Bandwidth Memory, and quite a nice deal.

Back when it was launched, the Radeon R9 Nano was promising a lot with its short 6-inch PCB, Fiji XT GPU clocked at up to 1000MHz and 4GB of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) with a 4096-bit memory interface, but a high US $649 price tag left a rather sour taste.

Now, a few months from its official launch, AMD has decided to officialy drop the price down to US $499, making it on par with the similar performance Radeon Fury, which is a great deal if you need a shorter mini-ITX graphics card that packs quite a punch.

Hopefully we will see the same price drop in Europe as well as usually, Europeans had tough luck when it came to graphics card prices.
