Mirror's Edge Catalyst delayed to May 2016

Minor setback

Electronic Arts has announced that it has delayed Mirror's Edge Catalyst release to May 24, 2016.

According to an official statement released by EA, Mirror's Edge Catalyst was quite an ambitious vision and in order to achieve that vision and deliver the best possible experience, the game had to be delayed for a few months.

The delay has not been mentioned in EA's Q2 FY16 financial report that was released earlier but that does come as a big surprise considering that it is just a minor setback and not a big delay.

The game tells the origin story of the main character, Faith, and promises plenty of immersive action with deeper and more engaging story, vast city to explore, majestic skyscrapers, fluid movement and combat in first person.

In case you missed it earlier, the game was originally scheduled to launch on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One on February 23, 2016 but apparently, EA needs a bit more time.
