Gelid, a well known cooling specialist, has unveiled its latest 1U low-profile cooler for Intel CPUs, the Polar.
As a part of Gelid's Silent product lineup, the Polar is designed for HTPC, Panel PC, Car PC and 1U Server application and with 27mm of height should fit in most, if not all, slim low profile cases. Weighing in at 127g, it is lightweight enough to be a part of Panel PC and Car PC applications.
Coming with a 75mm frame-less fan with Gelid PWM control, which has been integrated into the heatsink and spins at 1400RPM, it should provide enough airflow and cooling capacity for Intel Celeron, Pentium, Core i3 and Core i5 CPUs with TDP of up to 65W.
The Gelid Polar can be used with Intel LGA1150, LGA1155 and LGA1156 sockets.
The Gelid Polar CPU cooler should be available immediately with a price set at €12/US $14.
