US $401 and $279 for Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K
An e-tailer for the U.S. have started taking pre-orders for yet to be announced Intel Skylake-S desktop CPUs, the unlocked Core i7-6700K and the Core i5-6600K.
PC Connection has listed both the Core i7-6700K and the Core i5-6600K and asks US $401 and US $279, respectively. While the store is trying to score a premium on early pre-orders it is obvious that these will be cheaper once they are officially announced and available.
Spotted by CPU-World.com, the same store also lists the rest of the lineup, including the Core i5-6400, i5-6500, i5-6600 and the Core i7-6700.
According to earlier reports, Intel plans to first launch the enthusiast oriented and multiplier unlocked Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K in early August, at Gamescom 2015 show, while the rest of the lineup, should be available in late August or early September.
Hopefully, we will see more of these pre-orders as it will give us a clear picture on the price.
