Batman: Arkham Knight PC sales suspended

Until all bugs are fixed

After a lousy and quite similar launch of the Ubisoft Assassin's Creed: Unity, which was plagued with numerous issues, it appears that Rocksteady Studios and WB Inteactive game, Batman: Arkham Knight is quite similar, if not worse, as WB Interactive has decided to suspend sales of the PC version of the game until bugs are fixed.
According to the official statement posted on the official forum, WB Interactive will suspend all sales of the PC version of the game until issues are addressed and satisfy quality standards. WB Interactive also apologized to those experiencing issues on the PC and have noted that users having issues can either wait for the promised improvements or request a refund via Steam or retailer where the game was purchased.

Quote:
We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall.

In case you missed it, Batman: Arkham Knight was launched two days ago and while console versions have their own issues, like running at 900p on Xbox One, development of the PC version was apparently outsourced to Iron Galaxy Studios which ported it to the PC and apparently did not do a good job. The game was locked at 30FPS, had issues with texture flickering, stuttering and slowdowns on both Nvidia and AMD hardware.

Hopefully, WB Interactive and Rocksteady Studios can get the game back on its track as these things can't happen on PC platform which, compared to consoles, have much more performance punch and should be easier for developers.
