Custom Zotac GTX Titan X Arctic Storm spotted

Nvidia lifting ban on custom GTX Titan X cards?

While you simply can't get a custom Geforce GTX Titan X, it appears that this could soon change as Zotac is preparing a custom GTX Titan X Arctic Storm.

While currently you can only go for EVGA's GTX Titan X ACX 2.0 cooler, which is sold separately, or buy the EVGA GTX Titan X HydroCopper, which is pretty much the only custom-cooled GTX Titan X on the market, it appears that this might soon change as Zotac has unveiled its GTX Titan X Arctic Storm version which features a custom hybrid air+liquid cooler.

Spotted by Videocardz.com, Zotac's GTX Titan X Arctic Storm will feature a dual-slot hybrid cooler which will include a custom liquid cooling block paired up with a triple-fan air cooler. Apparently you can either use both or just the air cooler, which is definitely a nice thing. It will also feature a custom backplate.

According to details, the Zotac GTX Titan X Arctic Storm will also feature a decent factory overclock with GPU set at 1026MHz base and 1114MHz GPU Boost clocks while 12GB of GDDR5 memory will work at 7.0GHz.

According to Videocardz, Zotac will be also using the same cooler on the upcoming Geforce GTX 980 Ti, although we are still to see if Nvidia will allow its AIC partners to make custom GTX 980 Ti graphics cards from day one.

In any case, we might see some interesting custom Geforce GTX Titan X graphics cards during Computex 2015.
