Biostar releases budget Hi-Fi B85S1 motherboard

Based on Intel B85 chipset

Biostar has unveiled yet another motherboard based on Intel's B85 chipset and aimed to be used with Intel's 4th generation LGA1150 socket CPUs, the Biostar Hi-Fi B85S1 motherboard.

Based on micro-ATX form factor, the Biostar Hi-Fi B85S1 features 100% solid capacitors and Super Durable Ferrite Chokes design, can support Intel's LGA1150 CPUs with maximum TDP of 95W and comes with two DIMM memory slots with support for up to 16GB of DDR3-1600 memory, single PCI-Express x16 3.0 slot and two PCI-Express x1 2.0 slots.

It also features four SATA 6Gbps prots, Realtek's RTL8111G Gigabit Ethernet, Realtek's ALC892 7.1-channel audio with built-in headphone amplifier and "Double Hi-Fi" integrated AMP, three USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, DVI and D-Sub outputs, as well as a bunch of Biostar's exclusive features like BullGuard, BIO-Remote2, MAGIX Multimedia Software Suite, Smart Speed LAN and more.

Unfortunately, Biostar did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date for the Hi-Fi B85S1 motherboard but a quick check shows it listed for around US $60.
