According to a fresh report, upcoming AMD's Fiji XT-based flagship graphics card might be in limited supply at launch due to some issues with HBM yields and the single GPU solution will not beat Nvidia GTX Titan X graphics card.
AMD's upcoming Fiji XT based single GPU graphics card with 4GB of HBM, mostly known as the Radeon R9 390X, will be in short supply at launch due to some problems with High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) yields,
according to the report from Tweaktown.com.
The same report also suggest that single GPU Fiji XT graphics card will not be able to beat Nvidia's GM200 based GTX Titan X and upcoming GTX 980 Ti should be even faster, and this lines up with what we have heard from our sources as well.
AMD is also preparing a dual-GPU graphics card with two Fiji XT or Fiji Pro GPUs and 8GB of HBM which should be able to beat the Nvidia Geforce Titan X graphics card.
AMD is expected to announce the new Radeon Rx 300 series graphics card at Computex 2015 show, which kicks off on June 2nd, but according to our sources, Fiji-based graphics cards will not be available at launch and AIB partners will be lucky to get it by the end of June.
In any case, it will be quite an interesting time for graphics cards at Computex 2015 show and we will surely keep an eye on any new rumors.
