EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling specialists from Slovenia, have introduced the new complete all-in-one monoblock liquid cooling solution designed for ASUS Rampage V Extreme motherboard and Intel's Core i7 Haswell-E CPUs, the EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock.

The EKWB's new EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock is a complete all-in-one liquid cooling solution which means it cools both the motherboard components on the ASUS Rampage V Extreme as well as the Haswell-E CPU. To be precise, the monoblock actually cools the Intel LGA2011-3 socket CPU, X99 Express southbridge (PCH) and the power regulation area (VRM/MOSFETs) on the motherboard. For CPU cooling part, it uses EKWB's well known EK-Supremacy cooling engine which should ensure that the CPU is well cooled.

The new EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock also features a very high flow design which means it can be used with liquid systems that have weaker pumps and comes with pre-applied Gelid GC-Extreme thermal grease.

"Unlike competitor solutions, the EK Monoblock series water blocks feature true monolith design," said Niko Tivadar, Monoblock main designer and Chief Technology Officer of EKWB. "This eases the installation and greatly improves the reliability of the unit."

The EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock will be available in four differen versions, including Nickel, Acetal+Nickel, Nickel (Original CSQ) and Acetal+Nickel (Original CSQ) and is already available via EK Webshop and EKWB's Partner Reseller Network. The price is set at €161,95 for the Nickel version and €163,95 for all other versions.
