Mortal Kombat X system requirements revealed

Gets a new Ermac trailer

Scheduled for a release on April 14th, we now have the official system requirements for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X game that has already impressed us with its graphics and gameplay videos. In addition to the system requirements, NetherRealm Studios also released a new trailer that shows Ermac character in battle with all-time favorite Sub-Zero.


While the Ermac trailer is certainly more interesting, we will still start with official system requirements announced by NetherRealm Studios.

As it is the case with most new games, Mortal Kombat X will also only work on a 64-bit version of Windows 7 or Windows 8. The minimum system requirements include Intel's Core i5-750 CPU or AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3GB of RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5850 as well as 25GB of HDD space.

On the other hand, the recommended system requirements are a bit higher, including Intel's Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 CPU, 8GB of RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7950 as well as 40GB of HDD space.

To show us what to expect from upcoming Mortal Kombat X, NetherRealm Studios also released a new gameplay trailer showing the Ermac character in battle with Sub-Zero. The trailer also reveals a part of Ermac's fatality move. Currently, confirmed characters that will show up in the game include Goro, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Kitana, Kung Lao, Cassie Cage, D’Vorah, Ferra & Torr, Kano, Quan Chi, Reptile, Kotal Kahn and now Ermac.

As noted, the game is scheduled for release on April 14th and will be available on PC, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
