Samsung has announced yet another ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio Ultra WQHD monitor, the curved 34-inch S34E790CN.
Featuring a native Ultra WQHD resolution of 3440x1440 pixels with 21:9 aspect ratio and offering better viewing pleasure thanks to a curved display design, the new Samsung S34E790CN also features split-screen and PIP function and offers DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 1.4 inputs.
The rest of the specifications include 300 cd/m² brightness, 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 4ms (GTG) response time, 178°/178° viewing angles and comes with a 4-port USB 3.0 HUB as well as 7W stereo speakers. Its stand allows 100mm height adjustment as well as certain amount of tilt adjustment.
Although Samsung did not announce the official price or the precise availability date, the new S34E790CN is expected in retail sometime during the second half of this month. Some European retailers/e-tailers already have it listed with price ranging from GBP 799.98 in the UK, up to around €1300 in other European regions.
