In case you have been waiting for the earlier rumored Battlefield Hardline second beta period, you will be quite happy to know that Electronic Arts has announced that it will start on Tuesday, February 3rd.


According to an EA press release, the new beta period for Battlefield Hardline will start on Tuesday, February 3rd and be opened until Sunday, February 8th. The new beta will bring the new Hotwire mode, and will include two playable maps, Downtown and Dust Bowl. The other available mode, Heist, will be running on Bank Job map.

The new beta will also include a new Hacker mode, which will be similar to Battlefield's Commander mode, where player will be able to "hack the battlefield in different ways including hacking into security cameras, spotting enemies and specifying areas for their team to attack or defend."

Battlefield Hardline will be officially released on March 17th in the USA and March 20th in Europe.
