Windows 10 event start today

At 5:00PM GMT

As announced earlier by Microsoft, the company will hold its special Windows 10 event on 21 January, or today. The event will mark a new chapter for the company as it introduces its new multi-platform Windows 10 OS.

If you have not followed previews which Microsoft made with the Technical Preview version of its latest Microsoft OS named Windows 10, the event that will be held today will be the perfect opportunity to learn more about what should be available in the future Consumer Preview of the Windows 10 OS.

While Microsoft is still keeping things under tight wraps, it is certain that we will see some new interface improvements and software additions like Spartan, the new web browser from Microsoft, and Cortana, the vocal assistant already available on Windows Mobile.

The event will be spearheaded by Satya Nadella, Microsoft's CEO, as well as Terry Myerson, Vice President Windows, Joe Belfiore, Vice President Windows Mobile and Phil Spencer, Xbox Vice President. In case you want to check it out, you just need to go to this address at 17:00 GMT, depending on your time-zone of course.
