HTC has already confirmed that it will launch a new high-end smartphone in March, codename Hima, and has now sent out official invites for its event that will take place on March 1st, just a day before Mobile World Congress 2015 show opens its doors.
While there are no precise information regarding the HTC Hima, which could possibly end up with the One M9 name, HTC has teased the "utopia in progress" sentence in its invite which is filled with stars and "one" star that shines with a burst of light.
While HTC does not usually launch its high-end/flagship smartphones at Mobile World Congress, it is possible that the company has decided to do things differently this year.
Earlier rumors suggest that the new HTC One (M9), or whatever the company decides to name the new flagship, will feature a larger 5-inch screen, with possible QHD resolution, Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 810 SoC, a high-end 20.7-megapixel rear and 13-megapixel front camera, larger 2800mAh battery, as well as Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Sense 7.0 UI and much more.
In any case, we will keep an eye out for more information as well as follow HTC's March 1st announcement, so stay tuned.
