Sony and Capcom have announced that its newest Street Fighter 5 game will be an exclusive for Playstation 4 and the PC, and will also feature cross-platform play.

In a rather surprising announcement at the Playstation Experience event, Sony and Capcom have unveiled its latest Street Fighter 5 game that will be exclusively available for Playstation 4 and the PC.

To make things even more interesting, Sony and Capcom have announced that the game will feature cross-platform ability between the Playstation 4 and the PC, which will deal a rather heavy blow to Microsoft's Xbox One. While expected to appear on Xbox One at a later date, Sony's Adam Boyes revealed that the console version of the game will be exclusive to the Playstation 4.

Sony and Capcom also released a first gameplay trailer for the Street Fighter 5 while the first gameplay live demonstration will take place during the Capcom Cup next weekend.
