Following the launch of two new big AAA game titles, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition, AMD has released its newest AMD Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta driver.
The new driver will give you the best possible gaming experience on AMD Radeon graphics cards in the Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition games. According to the release notes, the new Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta driver will offer up to up to 50 percent increase in single-GPU performance with anti-aliasing in Far Cry 4 as well as a 5 percent single-GPU increase in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
According to those same release notes, Crossfire support in Far Cry 4 is disabled as AMD is still working with Ubisoft to fix some of the bugs with Crossfire. On the other hand, the new Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta driver does come with a Crossfire profile for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
As expected, the new Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta driver supports all the Radeon graphics cards since the Radeon HD 5000 series and is available for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
