MOOC edX platform and the Linux Foundation have partnered to offer a GNU/Linux course for beginners. Due to the big success of the first session, they have decided to do a second one as well.
The big advantage of MOOC that is you can work when you want and where you want. With edX, it is even possible to get these courses free of charge, since payment is only required for the verified certificate.
Last July, they opened the first formation of initiation to GNU/Linux, named the LFS101X.1, and with the assistance of the Linux Foundation, which allowed them to offer a training with a value of $2400 for only $250 for those who wanted a verified certificate, or for free with a honorary certificate.
Given the success of this first session which ends on December 20, they opened registration for a second, the LFS101X.2 session, which will begin on January 5. To celebrate the end of the first, five students who passed their examination will be raffled among the more than 250000 participants and will be offered a verified certificate (or refunded if they already had one).
