We already know that AMD will release the Kaveri-based Athlon X4 860K CPU next-week but judging from the CPU support list from ASRock's socket FM2+ motherboards, it appears that AMD might launch yet another similar CPU without on-chip GPU, a dual-core Kaveri-based Athlon X2 450.
Spotted by
CPU-World.com, the Athlon X2 450 packs two cores and works at 3.5GHz, has 1MB of L2 cache and a 65W TDP.
Unfortunately, the aforementioned CPU support list is quite lacking but judging from what can be gathered, this one will be quite similar to
already detailed Athlon X4 860K and lack the integrated GPU. Of course, since it lacks the "K" suffix, this one will come with a locked multiplier.
Unfortunately, there were no details regarding the actual release date or the price of the new Athlon X2 450.
