AMD unveils the new FX-8370

32nm Vishera architecture and 125W TDP

Alongside with the new Radeon R9 285 graphics card, AMD will launch two new CPUs on 2nd September, the FX-8370, and the FX-8370E, energy efficient versions of the previously available CPUs.

These new CPUs are based on a 32nm Vishera architecture and they both feature 8 cores with support for AM3+ socket. The base clock speed is set at 4.10Ghz, while the Turbo Core frequencies go up to 4.30Ghz. The FX-8370 features a 125W TDP, while the “E” version goes down to 95W.

The new FX-8370 should be sold for the same price as the FX-8350, while the FX-8370E should cost just a tad more.
