Whoaa, the be quiet! PSUs I took pics of earlier today and yesterday were cheap, this one is everything but.

First look:
- Nice Features
- Clean Design
- High Quality Case
- A pain to disassemble
- A pain to put back together
- Y not 100% Modular?

Yes this one is Seasonic.
Afaik OEM of be quiet! small units is FSP and Seasonic for big units.

EDIT: If I am not mistaken it's the same base as the SS-860XP but with a "few" modifications.

Dont think so. The KM3 has typically the 12V Fets on a doughter PCB (like the 660 Platinum (our review will be released of this one very soon))

KM3 has many improvements. The most important are in my view the new 12V Fet solution (especially for high wattage important) and the 9A 85C modular connectors. A disadvantage of Modular cables which is often neglected is that the additional connector has a resistance. It not only burns energy it also has a voltage drop (however the resistivity is usually small). But I've seen a SS-1250 with exploded 12V Fets and also a SS-850 with molten connector. So Seasonic reacted on those issues with the KM3.
