Battery life

Pro / Con

Pro:
- Can use 5-pin MHL micro-USB to charge and data transfer
- 4G Connectivity (100 mb/s down, 11 mb/s up with Swisscom Infinity XL)

Con:
- Proprietary 13-pin MHL micro-USB
- Impossible to find the 13-pin MHL micro-USB if you lost yours, it's not being sold as part/accessory
- When using 5-pin MHL micro-USB, it's very loose => you will lose signal every time it moves a bit

Padfone Infinity

I took a few pictures and videos with the padfone, I will upload them later.

I am running some battery tests atm, so far I have emptied (if this word doesn't exist, well now it exist) the battery of both Station and Padfone 2 to test the charging time.

It took 4 hours and 30 mins to fully charge the Station using a Samsung 5pin MHL mico-USB AC Charger (previous media lost the ASUS 13pin MHL micro-USB cable+charger, still waiting for the replacement one).

Now the Padfone 2 is charging.

Btw, you can use a 5pin MHL micro-USB as a backup if you lose the ASUS 13pin one to charge and transfer data but you won't be able to stream video via HDMI for exemple. Furthermore as the 5pin micro-USB is smaller than the proprietary 13-pin, it is very loose and if the device or the cable moves only a bit you will lose the signal.

Also, impossible to find the ASUS 13pin MHL micro-USB on the market, it's simply not sold separately. So if you lose yours... well you're fucked. Hope ASUS will fix this soon.
