Hi Ocaholic


For months I wanted to start my first mod, inspired by all of you and your amazing mods

So now it's time to create the Worblog and keep it up to date

The victim of this first mod is the pc case Shinobi XL .

The outside of the mod will be Gold and Black with a wood aspect, using vinyl !

The inside will probably Gold, Black and White (not exactly sure for now)

Objectives for this case :

- A New top
- A New front
- A Top-Front : One piece to put at the same time on Top and Front
- A PSU cover
- A Cover around the Motherboard
- Sleeving

I will first work on the outside of the case and then on the inside.

For the mod I will use some sort of Plexiglass plate with a thickness of 3 and 5 mm.This looks like that !

The next part is The master piece of the exterior of the mod : The Top-Front !

For that, I need to bend my plastic plate first, then start to cut






It fits quite well !!!!

Now it's time to finish cutting, drilling and sanding : here is The master piece







Now, creation of "spacers" so separate the top and the front from the "Top-front"

Poseidon is black/red while Mark-S is white, are you gonna change color also of hw?

You're right about the colors, I think I have 2 options:

-Simplest but expansive : Changing the card and going fo WB and BP... So not for now ...

-More work to do by myself : Creating a custom backplate (white/black and gold), I would like to order it at ColdZero and I am drawing the logo of the mod now. And, adding some custom stickers on the opposite side so we can't see the red parts and stay in the color scheme.

First I am going to go for the option 2 and I think it can be great. If not, I know what to do haha

All the cables, sleeves, connectors and pins have been ordered to Gosumodz !!!
