Aw: HTPC Thread #2
Since I've been reviewing the Streacom FC08 Evo I'm kind of like in love with this case. I've always wanted to try this one and lately the opportunity came up ...

Now that I've set it up it's about time to add some cool software to it. Like a noob I decided to install Windows 7 Ultimate on it and ditch Linux. I don't know ... but I'm kind of like not really into Linux tweaking anymore. I'm more than happy these day if the ocaholic webserver is just doing it's job in an oppropriate way

Ok then ... lets recap the specs of the thing I built

Case: Streacom FC08 Evo
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K (yes running hot )
Memory: 16GB (of too expensive stuff)
SSD: OCZ Arc 100 240 GB (rather reasonable
PSU: Streacom Nano150 PSU (funny shit)
Keyboard: Apple Wireless
Mouse: Apple Wireless

Now that this is done ... the question remains ... what software should I be using to benefit from the full potential of this mean little beast. For starters I will certainly try XBMC for Windows, but after that I'm already kind of like at the end of my vocabulary. Do you guys have any suggestions for me?

Ah yeah ... true ... it's picture time
