Well ... you know what? I looked at your mod again and thought ... erm ... ok ... same board ... same color scheme, but by quite a margin better than what I can do

I think every project has its own beauty ..... you only need to know how to
express their ideas in the best manner

I couldn't agree more!
But honestly, there isn't actually much being modded on this build. In the end it shoul be a very sleek machine.

What I had to do so far is bending one of the brackets holding the carriage of the hotswap mechanism that's closer to the front. I've installed the triple radiator in the front and the fittings at the bottom were colliding with thise piece of sheetmetal. So ... it had to be moved out of the way

Re: Corsair Air 540 meets EK #15
I'm sorry, it's taking me so long to update this thread. This week-end I really had to take a break from working and install Diablo III - Reaper of Souls. Updates will follow this week. There are still quite a few parts missing, but I assembled most of the stuff already, since the rig is for my GF and she damn wants to play games

Re: Corsair Air 540 meets EK #16
I finally have some pics of the stuff assembled. Unfortuntely I had to swap the motherboard and there is now an ASRock Z87 OC Formula in place. The Gigabyte Z87 G1.Sniper had some issues on the audio and we were experiencing weird bugs regarding the frame drops. Atm I'm testing if swapping the board also solved the frame drop issues.

What still remains to be done is changing the coolant and getting/installing all sleeved cables. Furthermore I'm also waiting for backlit fans and some other things

But for now ... let's first post a few pics

Hrr ... yes ... the radiator is not small

Yeah ... so far it's a clean build. But really ... I need to add some color to the water and backlit fans are bloody necessary

Ah ture ... there are also some Scythe Himuro's incoming for the hard drives in order to hide those nicely.

Not bad at all, but why is the tube going from the res to the pump so long? Intel Core i7 3770K, 16 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum, EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti, OCZ Vertex 4 128GB, Seagate Barracuda 2TB, Corsair AX760 PSU, Corsair H100i Cooler
