I'll be taking quite a few more photos...There will be some detailing on cable management, the HDD bays, how I am doing the tube routing, and of course...the final photo shoot. This build is about 80% complete and should be done and ready for the studio shots by next weekend.

Alright..was sitting at home and got incredibly bored. I picked this kit up a while back and decided to go ahead and do it..

This will be just a quickie update...The nice thing about the Dominator Platinum RAM is the light bars can be changed out...

It comes in a nice little kit and I am going to stay with the white, but I like the look of the add on light bar.

With the new light bar...looks much better...

Because of how close the RAM slots on the Stinger are, I am removing the Corsair logos on the RAM where they face each other. This should help keep them from bowing out a little bit...

Still have to clean the glue residue off, but I'm happy with the results..

Nice little update Are the DIMM slots on the Stinger really closer to oneanother than on other boards?

Sorry it's been a few days, but worked got really busy this week. Today I test mounted the Himuro for the 3.5" HDD...I'm pretty happy with the results...

If you remember, I was going to use a bracket similar to this:

But I wound up doing something completely different. I wanted to reuse the screw posts that the stock drive bracket uses, so I created an "L" bracket that works really well...

I'll take some photos of the bracket before I paint it. What do you guys think about red Himuros?

Looks great like always

Basically I would either do a red or a white paint job since those are the colors you're already using in this build. I guess at the end of the day I would go with red.

Himuro Bracket and dual fan cables

I've decided that I am not going to paint the Himuro...I've got a different idea for it that I am currently working on. In the meantime, it is already mounted and ready to go.

I promised some photos of how the bracket is attached...along with the completed photos of it.

It uses the stock bracket's mounting posts and is basically just an L bracket with adjustable screw holes on the back side for the Himuro...

The Himuro is held in place with 4 screws...

The idea was to keep the mounting as hidden as possible. I think this will work out.

Next up was to make some dual fan cables...

2 fan cables for 4 fans!

Next up is to flush the rads that have been sitting for a while in the shop, a bit of sleeving, and then the final assembly! As always, comments, critiques, suggestions are always welcome!

The Himuro looks just great! I'm really curious to see this thing in action.
