Second EVGA X299 mATX available

At the Computex 2018, EVGA has unveiled an updated version of the original X299 Micro launched last year. The upcoming model will come with an improved CPU VRM design which should work better with Intel Core i9 HCC processors.


With in-house mechanical switches

A few days ago Roccat announced its own in-house mechanical switches, the Titan switch. During the Computex, the company has unveiled a new gaming keyboard which feature the Titan switch. With the Vulcan, Roccat adds a rather interesting RGB gaming keyboard.


Server-grade motherboard

During the Computex 2018, Intel has unveiled an unnamed HEDT Skylake XCC processor that's capable of run at 5GHz. This CPU features six channel DDR4 memory and require a variant of the LGA3647 socket from Purley platform.


Cooled down with a water chiller

During Intel's Computex 2018 keynote the company presented an almost unbelievable product demo. The monstrous PC was accomodating inside an Intel 28 core 56 thread HEDT processor running at 5GHz on all processing cores. Finally, we have some more details on this processor and also the cooling setup, which was everything but common.


With black and silver color scheme

Gigabyte has finally revealed the first motherboard compatible with Threadripper 2 processors. This particular board comes with a whole bunch of features as well as an exceptionally good looking color scheme - at least in our opinion.


Based on ATX form factor

The ASUS ROG B450-F Strix Gaming is another AMD AM4 motherboard that should help filling gaps ASUS' AM4 lineup. So far this is the first B450 motherboard from ASUS. Compared to the ROG B350-F Strix Gaming, the new B450-F Strix Gaming sports a better layout.

Four new case models

At Computex 2018, Phanteks has announced the MetallicGear sub-brand. MetallicGear make its debuts at Computex with its new line of Neo series of cases. The lineup includes four models and they should come with a rather affordable price tag.

Aircraft carrier for M.2 SSDs

MSI has finally shown a PCIe expansion card that can accomodate up to four M.2 SSDs. During the last months, we have seen similar solutions from ASUS and ASRock. It looks like that MSI wants join to the party as well with the Xpander-Aero card.


Fully digital PSU

During the Computex 2018, Seasonic has revealed a fully digital PSU featuring a totem pole PFC converter and GaN MODFETs (HEMTs). Aside from this monstrous unit, the company has unveiled the new Snow Silent series and a SFX model.


Up to 32 core and 64 thread

AMD announced that we will see Threadripper 2 processors in Q3 2018. These new models will pack up to 32 core and 64 thread and feature the 12nm Zen+ architecture. Furthermore, the CPUs feature many of the improvement that we've seen on the second-gen Ryzen processors.


Compact ATX cases

Deepcool has unveiled several new products during the Computex 2018. In addition to the coolers and the new lineup of power supplies, the company has unveiled a whole set of cases. Like every recent product, also the Matrexx series comes with RGB lighting system.

Deepcool and Gamerstorm have unveiled a wide range of products at Computex 2018. The products include three RGB liquid coolers, one RGB air cooler, a case series and a power supply series. In this news we will focus on the RGB coolers.


Blazing speeds and flashy looks]

Corsair has shown several RGB products this year at its Computex 2018 booth. Since the iCue unified lighting and cooler control software has been launched, the company is refreshing several products in order to make them compatible. For this reason, the company has added the Vengeance RGB Pro memory.


With OLED displays

During the Computex 2018, ASUS has expanded the list of components that belong to the ROG family. ASUS' latest entries in the ROG family are the Ryujin and Ryuo series of closed-loop liquid coolers. Both lines of coolers include RGB LED illumination and a tiny OLED display placed on top of the pump.


With 56 thread

As part of its Computex keynote, Intel has unveiled a high-end desktop CPU with 28 cores and 56 threads. This CPU was sitting inside a single socket motherboard and the company demonstrated that it can hit 5GHz on all cores with Cinebench.
