AOC has expanded its monitor lineup with another model, featuring a 31.5-inch TN panel with 2560 x 1440 resolution. The grey-to-grey response time is 1ms and the refresh rate 144Hz. Apart from that this monitor sports built-in AMD Freesync support.

Including DLSS compatibility

Already during conference last week NVIDIA has shown extensive demos of Battlefield V and Shadow of the Tomb Raider with ray-tracing enabled. NVIDIA has also been talking about their DLSS feature sharing further insight on it. Usually it takes a while until new technologies appear in games, but it looks like NVIDIA is pushing really hard on these two features to accelerate the process.

Last month, Samsung launched an enhanced version of its popular 970 EVO NVMe PCIe SSD sporting new V-NAND memory and optimized firmware. Since a new model is out, it usually means that the older models are going to be sold off with a discount. On Amazon.com, .de and .it (and probably in others as well), the SSD is on sale for a limited time.

A variant of the H100i Platinum

Availability is appears to be bad

The guys over at Cowcotland have shared the price of the upcoming graphics card from AMD. According to them the AMD Radeon VII is to set you back 739 Euro if you do wish to own one of these cards. Judging by the specs the price looks ok, but it seems that availability is going to be the issue if you’re interested in this particular pixel accelerator.

A juicy contender

According to a leak from a Russian retailer there is more information on an upcoming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card. The pixel accelerator is supposed to be based on the 12nm TU116 silicon having 1536 Turing CUDA cores at its disposal to perform. There are no RT cores built-in to this chip, which is why this is going to be a GTX and not a RTX graphics card.

Popular and well-priced choice

Artic has released the third generation of their monitor arms, which also includes the new W1C wall mount. The monitor arms are pretty popular as they’re available at a reasonable price point and the quality is also on a decent level.

Slightly faster than Threadripper 2990WX

The first set of benchmarks on Intel's Xeon W-3175X CPU has surfaced. The processor has been tested by our friends over at Pcworld alongside with the AMD Threadripper 2990WX. Both CPUs are really powerful but there is a pretty big price difference between the two and it will be interesting to find out whether it’s justified or not.
