Ultimate Ears specializes exclusively in producing headphones. They have in their chosen everything from cheap headphones for 30 dollars, and almost luxurious versions in price ranges up to and even above 800 dollars. Today we look at one of their cheap versions and see how much sound you can get out of a set of in-ear headphones for under 60 dollars. In-ear does as its name says that you have the headphones inside the ear like earplugs. Series called Ultimate Ears 100, where Logitech has been involved in over and develop. It is also possible to buy Ultimate Ears 100 on Logitech's website, but much more on this later. Now let's jump into it and look at these little headphones.

Bon, si vous nous suivez, vous savez que Corsair offre pour nos oreilles un petit casque bien sympathique. Mais comme si cela ne suffisait pas, voilà que le dit pirate se met en tête de nous sonoriser de façon plus familiale, plus conviviale, en faisant profiter toute la petite maisonnée d’un kit d’enceintes en 2.1. Alors, certes, certains, assidus, me feront remarquer qu’un Corsair et qu’un pirate ne sont pas du tout la même chose, et ils auraient bien raison. En effet, l’un est « officiel » et travaille pour le roi, donc pour Mantidor, l’autre ne l’est pas, et travaille donc pour lui. Mais sincèrement, est-ce bien là le fond de notre problème. Nous pourrions développer cet aspect historique pendant plusieurs pages, en nous appuyant sur l’évolution du commerce maritime à la fin du Moyen Age. Comment ça, cette période d’examens nous perturbe à la Ferme ??? Peut-être un peu, toujours est-il que le kit SP 2500 sonorise notre intérieur depuis maintenant une quinzaine de jours. Il est donc temps de vous en donner la substantifique moelle et la quintessence. Non, pas la quintessence, nous la gardons pour nous !

If you live in a city as "spontaneous" as Calgary, you would not be surprised by how fast summer quickly turns to winter. Just a few days ago (More specifically, Halloween), I crawled out of bed being greeted with a small patch of snow. We all know the feeling, waking up praying for it to be a beautiful day, only to find the opposite. For Calgary, however, you tend to prepare for the worst before you hope for the best. Much like summer and winter, the world of audio also has two very different ends of the spectrum. No, I am not talking about good audio equipment versus bad audio equipment ordeal, but more along the lines of how audio equipment is tested. On one end, we have objectivists who rely on technical and engineering information as well as experience to test audio devices. On the other end, we have subjectivists who rely on the careful process of individual listening and time to rate a device's worth. Which method is more correct? Well, neither. But since we here at APH Networks are Canadian, we tend to think both methods are right to a certain degree, but we do certainly lean more towards the subjectivist's way of doing things. Is it because we are not comprised of sound engineers? Possibly. But I believe the main reason is, just because you can spout out information regarding the performance of a pair of earphones using the laws of physics, doesn't necessarily mean the device sounds -- for lack of a better term -- good. Today, we just may or may not have this slippery slope upon our feet. Arctic Cooling's new Arctic Sound E461-BM may look quite impressive on paper, boasting amazing performance in the linearity of the earphones frequency response, but how do they sound? Itching to hear what I heard? Well, for that, you will need to purchase the earphones. But for now, I can scratch that itch for you if you read on.

Bon, c’est bien joli de tester des kits énormes qui balancent un max de son, avec des gros subs qui font trembler les fondations de notre frêle Ferme. Mais il faudrait penser un peu aussi à ceux qui ne veulent pas du gros son, de l’encombrement minimal, ceux qui veulent du style, de l’esthétique... Sans pour autant sacrifier la qualité. C’est là qu’intervient Edifier, un fabricant chinois qui monte, qui monte. En effet, chez celui-ci on trouve un grand nombre de références réparti en différentes sections : image-multimédia-studio, du kit 2.1 classique, tel que le S330D dont nous vous parlerons sous peu, à l’Aurora, objet de notre test du jour. Le kit prénommé Aurora, placé dans la section Image aux côtés des produits destinés à l’iPod, présente les choses de la manière suivante : petit, design flatteur, qualité du son pour autant, mais faible puissance. Nous allons tenter de voir si tous ces points sont réunis.

Their new line is called Colors and they’re aptly named as you can get them in many different colors.
