I remember when wireless video was a thing of the future, well it’s here and it’s in HD! Today for review I’ve got the StreamHD SWP120A Wireless PC to TV Display Adapter. This product allows you to Stream high definition content from your computer to your TV over the air via an HDMI connection to your HDTV. It works wirelessly of course by using an adapter and a receiver that resemble USB thumbdrives to get the signal to your TV.

We hope you've been enjoying our series of Beginner's Guides for HTPC and Home Theater. As part of the series, we’ve previously discussed video resolutions and how video information is displayed on a screen for a frame of video in our guide, Video Resolutions for Beginners. What we didn’t delve into much was the rate at which video frames are captured, or, in other words, the video frame rate. This guide will cover the basics of frame rates and how displays deal with the frame rates. We’ll try to cut through the marketing buzzwords like 120Hz, 240Hz, 600Hz sub-field drive, etc. so that you can make a more informed decision when purchasing your next display and how to insure an optimal viewing experience.

While I have not yet and may never recover from my addiction to having the Biggest Fastest Most Expensive computer parts I can afford, the experience I've gained writing for this website over the past year or so has hammered home the lesson that most of the time, I'm just wasting my money. Our phones have become indispensible, they’re a huge part of our lives, they go with us everywhere, and they’ve become much more than just phones. Sony has decided to make them even more useful with the addition of a second screen called the LiveView that works with most any Android phone. The LiveView is a 1.3” Color OLED screen that has a ton of uses like checking your email, reading text messages, and checking Twitter and Facebook updates. The LiveView can be clipped most anywhere or worn as a watch. It can allow you to control your phone from a distance with the many plug-ins available for it like controlling your media player or even dialing your phone. The UN55ES8000 is definitely a stunning TV when you see it in any living room. The new stand matches the almost invisible bezel making the TV a work of art even when not powered up. With a price point of under $2500, it is actually priced almost five hundred less than the Panasonic and a full grand less than Sony’s on Futureshop. This may seem shocking for a TV of such caliber and high caliber it is
