Last week Windows 8 was released, and in no-time dozens of hip new Windows 8 devices with touchscreens will hit the market. Tablets, laptops, so-called convertibles and all-in-one PCs with touchscreen have been announced by various manufacturers. There is a good chance the boring uniformity of the PC and tablet market is coming to an end, as different brands now try to create their own identity and look. They're doing their best to design stylish and unique devices to make themselves stand out from the crowd.

Patriot had their plan down from the start; make a smoking hot SSD, name it something ultra cool (or hot in this case) and make the freaking case red no matter what. At one point even some Patriot reps didn’t know for sure if the red anodized case would make it to the final product, but everyone who saw the CES sample let it be known to marketing that the red must stay; me among them. There is just something about the color red, I’m a fan and I’m a fan of the Patriot Inferno.

If you take into consideration that WordPress is the most widely used blogging platform, it is confusing why they are still living in the past. I am referring to the usage of AIM, Jabber, and Yahoo in the user's profile. Currently, within WordPress, there is no way for you to modify these choices. However, with a few simple lines of code in our functions.php file, we can bring WordPress into the 21st century.

You have probably seen an article posted by Gizmodo listing 7 reasons to stick with Windows XP. Well, there are certainly some reasons for sticking with Windows XP and the one that really makes sense is if your current system is too old to support Windows 7. You may not meet the minimum system requirements or your system may have an odd ball piece of hardware that is not supported. However, if your system can pass Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor I suggest you bite the bullet and do the upgrade. If you still have your doubts because the 7 points highlighted by Gizmodo are reason enough, here's my take on Gizmodo's points.
