Totally Gigabyte provided the X58A-UD9 with ten SATA ports whereas all of which are angled by 90 degrees. This means that there will be no issues when installing oversized graphics cards. Meanwhile standard are the Start-, Reset-, CLR-CMOS-buttons which can be found next to the DIMM-slots. You even find an old IDE port for very serious overclockers who tend to do benchmarking with PATA drives.

  

Totally you'll find six fan header on the X58A-UD9 which is more than enough, to provide a very well equipped high-end-system with fresh air. The fanheaders are located around the CPU socket as well as at the bottom edge of the mainboard.

  

Looking at the external connectors Gigabyte provided the X58A-UD7 with one a PS2 mouse and keyboard connector, four USB 2.0/1.1 ports, two USB 3.0/2.0 connectors, a firewire port, two eSATA connectors, two gigabit ethernet port, an audio panel, coax- and SPDIF-audio as well as a CMOS clr button.
