Conclusion

General   + -
The X2000FB really is one of the most luxurious cases money can by at the moment. What you'll also get is the case with probably the highest build qualitiy out there in the market. The side panel for example are made of two millimeter thick, hairline brushed aluminium panels. Also the hot swap cages and the ergonomics in general aren't matched by now. Furthermore we haven't been able to find something that we would wish Lian Li to change it as soon as possible.   - Design

Manufacturing quality / Ergonomics   + -
It simply is a fact that the PC-X2000FBs build quality belongs to the best available on the market and therefore every single piece fits perfectly. It also doesn't matter if you're taking a closer look at the hot swap cages, the side panels or even fan controller. But once more we have to underline the quality of the clamping mechanism regarding the expansion cards. It's very ergonomic and all cards will be tightened to the case perfectly. Another thing are the several holes in the motherboard tray. This allows a nice cable management as well as the installation of CPU coolers when the motherboard has already been put in place.   - Hot swap cages - Build quality - Clamping mechanism for expansion cards

Design   + -
Regarding the X2000FB Lian Li chose an approach which is quite different to the one other manufacturers use in order to design a case with plenty of space inside. Therefore this case is very high. This makes the X2000FB look thin and elegant although it is a huge thing. Furthermore the rounded edges and the silver line centered in the front also look very elegant and it even give this giant a soft touch.   - Height instead of depth

Recommendation   + -
If you should be looking for a very special case which comes with a very high build quality and a luxurious design then the PC-X2000FB will be just perfect for you. Furthermore the financials really shouldn't come first because for the same kind of money you'll be able to get a high-end graphics card or a very well performing SSD.   - PC-Enthusiast

The Lian Li PC-X2000FB can be bought at Digitec for CHF 594.- (ca. EUR 424.-)
