AMD has issued its fourth quarter 2013 as well as annual financial results reports a decent increase in revenue of US $1.59 billion when compared to the same quarter last year but annual revenue is actually down to US $5.3 billion when compared to last year US $5.42 billion.

During the press meeting at Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas, AMD also revealed and shed some more details regarding the upcoming Catalyst 14.1 Beta driver pack which will include Mantle and TrueAudio runtimes. Scheduled to launch sometime later this month, according to AMD promise, the new driver promises some impressive performance improvements thanks to the Mantle API as well as TrueAudio with positional audio DSP in order to make the sound in games just a bit more realistic.

AMD Mantle might be easily the next big thing when it comes to PC gaming and according to what AMD has been saying at Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas, the Mantle could bring up to 45 percent performance improvement for Radeon users in Battlefield 4 when compared to DirectX 11.

Next to their official announcement of the new Kaveri APUs AMD also showed quite an impressive reference platform for a nano PC, which is based on their Mullins APU.

Although AMD officially launched the new Kaveri APUs with A10-7850K flagship, most information regarding the performance, other than what we had a chance to see in AMD slides, is held off until 14th of January, when the NDA for Kaveri APUs will be lifted. In addition to the Kaveri APU, AMD has now officially announced and launched its R9 M200, R7 M200 and R5 M200 series mobile GPU lineup during Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas.

Nvidia G-Sync has made a lot of noise recently and it was just a matter of time before we saw something similar from AMD as well. During CES 2014, AMD has unveiled the new FreeSync technology, which, although not as good as G-Sync, is actually free.

AMD's Hawaii GPU has been around for quite some time, but now we have a new and quite interesting rumors which suggest that the Hawaii XT GPU behind the AMD's current flagship R9 290X is actually a cut down version of the full chip which apparently features a total of 48 Compute Units or 3072 Stream Processors.
