Corsair shows Flash Voyager GTX USB drive

Promises SSD-like performance

During its Computex 2014 launch, Corsair has also unveiled its new Flash Voyager GTX USB 3.0 flash drive which will be available in 128 and 256GB capacities and offer impressive performance speeds quite close to current SSDs.

As far as the specification go, the new Corsair Flash Voyager GTX will feature support for USB Attached SCSI, SMART monitoring and TRIM as well as transfer read and write speeds of up to 450/350MB/s.

Unfortunately, Corsair did not reveal any other specifications but did release some benchmark numbers from the ATTO Disk Benchmark and CrystalDiskMark which compares the Flash Voyager GTX USB 3.0 with standard USB 3.0 flash drives and even promises that it will have no trouble working with smaller files either.

According to Corsair, the Flash Voyager GTX USB 3.0 will be available next month with a price set at US $119.99 for the 128GB model and US $199.99 for the 256GB one. In any case we hope we will see one pretty soon and check out if it is as fast as Corsair promises it to be.
