iPhone 5S and 5C specs leaked

Keeping stuff under the wraps has been worse

Apple is about to introduce the upcoming iPhone 5S as well as 5C any time soon. So far almost no information has leaked this time, apart form a few pictures. It's actually quite surprising for how long the specs have stayed under the wraps, but as the launch is coming closer, finally, the specs have leaked.

This time the Chinese are to blame. Thanks to a promotion which made it to market to early we now know, that there is the new A7 processor working under the hood. Apart from that there is iOS 7, a dual LED flash, an 8 megapixel camera, which has been combined with an F2.0 lens. The camera is also capable of capturing videos at 120fps in 1080p. Since quite a few months there have been rumors, that there will be a fingerprint scanner, which turns out to be ture.

When it comes to design, there haven't been major changes. The combination of camera and LED flash got a decent overwork but the basic receipe hasn't been touched. Even the display resolutions remains untouched: 1136 x 640 pixels, which is like, virtually nothing compared to competition from Samsung or HTC. The famous Retina seems to start aging quite quickly. On another note battery life seems to have received an improvement. The manufacturer is promising up to 250 hours of standby time.

Yet still to be disclosed or maybe also leaked are the specs of the iPhone 5C. We expect those to be similar to the 5S, and maybe you get a bit a worse camera and a slower/older processor.
